I am Alison Silvester, a Birth and Postnatal Doula based in Fulham, London. I have been working as a Doula since 2008, providing support and reassurance to women and their partners during pregnancy, labour and postnatally.
The birth of a baby signifies also the birth of a Mother, a Father and a new family and is a time to cherish and be cherished. However in our modern families it can be a complex, challenging and isolating experience.
As a Doula I provide emotional and practical support, nurturing you throughout pregnancy, birth and in the early weeks beyond that time when you adjust to life with your new baby.
You choose the level of support that is right for you: birth only, birth and postnatal or postnatal only.
I am a member of Doula UK, my practice reflects the Doula UK philosophy and the Doula UK code of conduct.
